Vegan, glutenfree, nourishing, healthy, sugarfree and perfectly MOIST.
The others are: RAISINS, COCOA POWDER, COCONUT OIL, APPLE JUICE
... and a FOOD PROCESSOR.
That's it! Let's do this.
They are so moist and so good! I can't get enough of them.
For 9 financiers:
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 cup of almonds
- 1/2 cup of oats
- 1/2 cup of flaxseeds
- 1/4 cup of water (less or more, depends on the consistence)
- 1/4 cup of apple juice (same as the water)
- 3-4 tbsp of maple syrup
- 3 tbsp of cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1 tsp of coconut oil
optional:
- raisins (amount depends on you)
- for the topping - you can use a shredded coconut
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven on 180 C.
2. Mix almonds, flaxseeds and oats in a food processor, until you obtain a quiet loose mixture.
3. Add in the ripped bananas by little pieces, maple syrup, coconut oil, water and apple juice.
4. Mix until smooth.
5. For the marble variation, fill half of each of your baking-tin with this white mixture.
6. Add in the remaining mixture the cocoa powder. Mix again.
7. Drop some raisins on the white mixture so it would be in the middle, then pour the financiers with your chocolate mixture.
8. Another option is, that in the remaining cocoa mixture you drop the raisins and pour it all in your baking-tin.
9. Sprinkle the "justchocolate" financiers with shredded coconut.
10. Put the financiers in the oven, for about 25-30 minutes. They will be finely delicately moist after this time.
Let them cool, for about an hour the best, so it stiffens.
So I hope this will help you guys to make your own financiers, and please share you experiences or your variations of my recipe! I'm looking forward some advices too, and don't be afraid to ask ANY questions.
Enjoy your perfect snack / breakfast!
