but my whipped cream didn't appear, so I just put the frozen coconut milk into the dough, left in in the freezer (because I had no idea what to do with it), and the day after, I thought it would be awesome to make a very milky bounty balls and cover it in raw chocolate (because already the dough was raw).
If you are wondering what the result was, keep reading for the recipe, I'll just tell you that it reminded me a lot of a milky childhood treat from your mom, I pretty loved it.
You'll need: NUTS (whichever you have), COCONUT OIL, COCONUT MILK, CACAO POWDER, SHREDDED COCONUT and a sweetener.
.. and a FOOD PROCESSOR.
Rawdy for the rawcipe?
Ingredients: (8 balls)
- 3/4 cup of nuts (I used the mix of pecans, cashews and almonds), soaked at least 2h
- 2 tbsp of Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp of melted Coconut Oil
- 1 tbsp of Cacao Powder
- Fullfat frozen for 1 hour (but already opened) Coconut Milk as needed (optional)
- 4 tbsp of Shredded coconut
For the topping:
- 2 tsp of melted Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp of Cacao Powder
- Cinnamon (optional)
1. Place the soaked nuts, cacao powder, maple syrup, shredded coconut and melted coconut oil in a food processor.
2. Mix until you obtain this mixture. (already you can make an awesome balls from this mixture, so it is optional if you continue in adding a coconut milk or not :) )
3. Add the half frozen coconut milk (amount depends on how thick you want the dough to be)
4. Do your balls.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the melted coconut and cacao powder.
6. Soak your balls in your chocolate topping, a spoon will add you.
7. You can top your balls with a pinch of cinnamon.
8. Place them in a freezer overnight, or until the chocolate is dry.
9. Just....Rememeber....Those....Childish.....Pleasures....
